SCREENLINGS™
Privacy Notice
Ordinary Screenlings use is local. There is no analytics, advertising, telemetry, browsing-history collection, remote executable code, or background transmission.
Stored locally
- Creature settings and the hostnames where the user disabled Screenlings.
- Local entitlements, an opaque installation identifier, a one-way licence fingerprint, activation instance ID, and accepted legal-document versions.
Deliberate licence redemption
Only after the user selects a product, enters a key, accepts the displayed terms, grants optional permissions, and presses Redeem, Screenlings sends the entered licence key and an opaque 12-character installation label to Lemon Squeezy’s encrypted licence activation endpoint.
- No page URL, hostname, history, content, form value, pointer movement, or keystroke is sent.
- The key is not stored after activation; a one-way fingerprint and returned instance ID remain locally.
- Returned purchaser name or email is not stored or used by Screenlings.
- Entitlements operate offline after successful activation.
Sensitive-page protection
Screenlings checks element type and limited structural labels only to avoid covering likely password, payment, form, and important controls. It does not read form values, record labels, or transmit page information.
